During the prize giving ceremony, the Commodore of the German Dragon Association, Rupert Fischer, complimented the fantastic conditions prevalent during this world class regatta. “In no other location of the top ranked races have we had these wonderful conditions. The special Dragon jetty with its own sea facing stage is next to none, the after race buffet prepared by Weissen Wiek was top notch and the cooperation with the marina was laudable” enthused the Commodore.

Markus Wieser, who repeated his previous Dragon Grand Prix success in Kiel in 2009 thanked as winner the race committee and the organisation. „It was a very well organised event, our three teams from main sponsor TRANSBUNKER were pleased and truly enjoyed the atmosphere of the Weisse Wiek. The different winds and wind directions were a true challenge for the top participants in this field. This is evidenced by the domination of the international boats in the top places.
